Marina Barcenilla’s Creative Perfumery School provides the content, products and services available on this website to you subject to the following terms and conditions. In using this website and purchasing any products or services offered, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree, without limitation, to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein. Acceptance of these terms and conditions does not affect your statutory rights.

Products and Servicese

All products and services displayed on our website are subject to availability. We will notify you as soon as possible if any item(s) you have ordered are not available and offer you a full refund if the wait for the item(s) is not acceptable to you.

We reserve the right to alter all product information and pricing without notice.

We reserve the right to delay or refuse orders where a transaction contains incomplete details or details that cannot be verified or where fraud is suspected. If we are unable to reasonably ascertain these details or resolve these issues a full refund will be made against the card used at the time of purchase. No other form of refund or credit will be offered nor will a refund be made to any third party card or account.

Placing an Order

Some of our courses are offered via Teachable, an online school platform. The payment for these courses is processed via Teachable when you register for the course. We do not process the payments for these training courses and We do not accept any liability for such orders or paymnents.

Delivery of kits

When ordering a kit from outside the UK, the recipient of the product is responsible for all customs duties or tariffs incurred in the country to which the products are shipped. Furthermore, your order may be subject to delay or be opened and searched by local customs authorities when entering the destination country. Please note we are unable to provide specific advice on customs duties or tariffs.

Please ensure that you enter the correct delivery address at the time of ordering. If an incorrect delivery address is entered we may have to arrange a new delivery which will incur additional charges.

Marina Barcenilla’s Creative Perfumery School accept no liability whatsoever for delayed delivery caused by a third party, or by industrial disputes or action outside our direct control.

Cancellations Returns and Refunds Policy: Perfumery Kits

Should you wish to cancel your order prior to dispatch you need to contact us immediately. The perfumery kits are made to order specially for our students. As a made to order item, there is no cancellation period of this order once the kit has been posted.

No returns will be accepted under any circumstances.

You must inspect the perfumery kit for errors and damgaes as soon as it arrives, and you must inform us of any problems within 7 days of receipt and be prepared to provide any evidence required. No claims will be acepted following this 7 day period.

Cancellations Returns and Refunds Policy: Online Courses

We have a very strict cancellation policy that you agree to and accept when you register on any of our courses.

a) Cancellations by you

Should you wish to cancel your participation at one of our online courses you must do so within 14 days of signing up and before the course start date.

You will forfeit your right to a refund once you have logged into your account and gained access to any digital content made available only to our students. This includes access to any bonus materials granted as a benefit of your registration.

b) Cancellations by us

We reserve the right to cancel any online events or courses.

In this case, we will offer you a place at the next scheduled date or a refund of your payment in full.

Cancellations Returns and Refunds Policy: Face to Face Courses

We have a very strict cancellation policy that you agree to and accept when you register on any of our courses.

a) Cancellations by you

Any cancellations by you within 45 days of a live event are subject to a 100% charge regardless of circumstances.

You will not receive a refund and you will not be able to rebook separate dates.

Should you find a third party to take your place at the live event, we do not have to accept this.  If we agree to this arrangement, we must receive the new payment in full before the live event. Once we have received full payment from the third party, we will issue a refund of your payment minus a deduction of £35 or 10% of the total fees paid by you, whichever is greatest, to cover administrative fees and additional work, within 30 days.

We cannot be held liable for situations beyond our control, including (but not limited to) acts of war, acts of God, threats or acts of terrorism, civil unrest or unforeseen personal circumstances. We also cannot offer refunds for any circumstances beyond our control, including transport delays, illness or any other circumstances. It is important that you have insurance in place to cover you in such instances.

b) Cancellations by us

We reserve the right to cancel any live events where the minimum number of attendants hasn’t been reached, or due to unforeseen circumstances.

In this case, we will refund your payment for the course in full. However, please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for the costs of any other arrangements you may have paid for, including but not limited to: the cost of flights, train tickets or other transport, hotel or other accommodation, visas, etc. It is important that you have insurance in place to cover any such costs.

Intellectual Property

All content available on our website, including but not limited to text, contact, graphics, logos, photographs, names, illustrations, artwork, trademarks and other material is the property of Marina Barcenilla Parfums Ltd and is protected by copyrights, trademarks and/or other proprietary rights. You agree not to use or reproduce, in whole or in part, any content of this website without prior written consent from Marina Barcenilla Parfums Ltd.

Accuracy of Information

We endeavour to be as accurate as possible when describing our products and services. However, we are human and can make mistakes. We do not warrant that product descriptions, colours or any other content on this website are accurate or error free. If you notice something that does not look right please get in touch and we will correct it as appropriate.
